In the not-so-distant-future, a virus that turns people into zombies spreads around the world. Lance Vintner has been recently infected, but he refuses to accept life as a marginalized person. In his defiant quest to life a normal life, Lance obsesses over the possibility of a cure, finding a study that might allow him to go back to the life he once had. A normal life isn’t possible when Alexa, a woman claiming to have met him in another universe, ensures his life devolves into chaos. By trying to protect him from the lies of a dishonest and self-destructive world, Alexa replaces false-hope with the promise of something fantastical.
The series is a dark comedy that finds humor in a reality resembling our worst nightmares.
